Pastor Teresa will be visiting Africa University in March of 2017. She was there more than 17 years ago on a Volunteer in Mission with her husband Pastor Ted and four year old daughter to help build faculty housing. The three of them will be returning on a Continuing Education Trip.

Stafford Food Security, was founded by Tim White, of New Hope UMC. Tim's passion is finding a way for hungry children to be fed even if their parents cannot get to the local food pantry. Stafford Food Security trains teachers to identify hungry kids and send a meal home that very night for the whole family. This pilot program is taking place at Conway Elementary School. We at New Hope Church are excited to support this important endeavor.

Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the earth.
You can find the majority of the graves for the people who have been buried at the New Hope UM Church Cemetery on this site. There are a number of others who have been buried at New Hope who are not yet listed as their graves are/were unmarked. The New Hope Cemetery was originally formed by E. Packard who sold families pocket deeds or sections of the cemetery with a specified number of burial plots in each section. The New Hope church members manage and maintain the cemetery via volunteers who mow and trim the cemetery and grounds weekly. We welcome your support of this ministry to the families of the saints who have gone before us.
